Itanagar has exactly one B.Pharm - granting institution, and the entire state of Arunachal Pradesh has only one more beyond it - at Namsai, over 300 km away in a different part of the state entirely, making it unreasonable to group with Itanagar. This is a genuine, verified scarcity confirmed across multiple independent college - listing sources (GetMyUni, CollegeBatch, TargetStudy, Shiksha), not a gap in available research. Any list claiming 7 - 10 B.Pharm colleges specifically in Itanagar would necessarily include fabricated entries.
The only B.Pharm college in Itanagar is Himalayan University's Faculty of Pharmacy and Para - Medical Sciences, located at Chimpu, Gohpur Tinali, in Papum Pare District. Himalayan University itself is a private university established in 2013, approved by AICTE, UGC, PCI, BCI, and AIU, running a broad multi - disciplinary course catalogue with the Pharmacy faculty housed on a dedicated campus near the Arunachal Pradesh Forest Corporation Guest House.
Admission to the B.Pharm programme requires a completed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics, typically with a minimum of 50% aggregate (45% for reserved categories), selected through the university's own merit - based admission process - Arunachal Pradesh does not have a dedicated state - level pharmacy entrance exam comparable to NEET or GPAT at the undergraduate level. B.Pharm duration is the standard 4 years. Reported total course fees run approximately ₹1 - 2 lakh for the full programme.
Given the extremely limited options in the state, candidates from Arunachal Pradesh seeking a wider choice of B.Pharm colleges typically look toward NEET - independent private pharmacy colleges in neighbouring Assam (Guwahati, Dibrugarh) or apply through national counselling processes to institutions elsewhere in India. This single listing reflects the complete and accurate B.Pharm landscape physically available within Itanagar and should not be padded with unrelated or distant institutions to reach a target list length.
